I am giving it one star only because you have to give at least one to publish the review. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. Very poor service. The food was horrible. They have like a thousand items on the menu, and apparently cannot make any of them well. The pot roast I had, which was a special of the day, tasted like it came out of a can. Just a poor experience over all. And the two tables next to us sent back their initial entree because it was inedible. One guy had ordered fish and sent it back because it was spoiled, ordering an omelet. Then they charged him for the salad that came with the fish entree!

Food is decent. Interesting menu choices. Prices are decent for the area. Nighttime servers are nice and friendly.

Went there a few times the food great most of the waitress are very nice but when it came to the bill. First time they added the tip and wasn't told that and we left her a tip which was $20 and then went there again recently and was charge $45 twice. It's a joke

Food is varying in quality both preparation and service wise. A loyal customer for my entire life, pay visit we were seated by the hostess and nobody came to take the order so we left. Overpriced and mediocre food.

This morning at 9:15 the place was very cold.usually it is warm .had to wear my jacket.I love coming here to eat the food is great and the servers very pleasant

The food is fine, nothing to write home about, the service is a bit slow, and if you ask for, say, a glass of water after you've ordered you can wait until closing time and won't ever get it. I'd go there If I was really hungry and/or in a rush while in Monticello.

One of the best diners in the area. Some of the wait staff can be a little on the crotchety side but still provide great service, the smile is just optional (it's that NY seal of authenticity). Excellent omelets, and they make great grilled chicken sandwiches.

Everything is served big here. The lamb chops were served 3 at a time . The cheesecake and Greek salad were big too. Coffee decent. Service excellent. Not fine dining, but you generally won't walk away hungry.

It's a good diner. Not much else to say. Matzo ball soup, burgers, grilled cheese, breakfasts and dinners. All good. Fair prices.

Service and food was wonderful. We surprised by the variety of offerings and they even have daily specials. Except for the furnishings, this is really more of a restaurant than diner. We visit again.

Burgers were definitely not even real meat...literally made me feel like I was gonna throw up. The rest of the food I could manage to eat was nothing more than average at best. Don't get me wrong , the staff was kind , this rating is solely for the horrendous food my boyfriend and I were served .

This diner is ok. Food is good but a bit bland service is good. The workers seem nice. Not a place where I would often go to eat.

The food is good standard diner food. If you are handicap, make a you have someone go inside so the can open up the side door for you.

Disappointing. Service was slow. Did not get what we ordered. I asked for a grilled chicken sandwich with some spice. when I asked them for hot sauce it took over 5 minutes to get it. We asked for corn and got broccoli. Pasta was overcooked and flavorless. Seasoned fry's weren't seasoned at all. The minestrone soup tasted like it had sugar in it.

I eat here regularly and the food and service are always excellent. Never a bad experience.

We are visiting friends in the area and came here for breakfast. Loved it. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was prepared perfectly and portions were generous. We'll be back.

Good spot for lunch. Not fantastic and a little pricey.

My wife said the pancakes had an odd taste, which they did. Tasted more like flour with no egg or anything else. I had the mushroom omlette. Just ok. No salt or pepper. Hash browns were more soggy than crisp, but just ok. No problems with service. Give that a thumbs up. Waitress took care of us.
